We stamp our UPVC spray painting service with a minimum 10-year guarantee. This guarantees paintwork from defects arising from poor workmanship and materials. It means you can expect the finish to last for at least a decade.
Paint durabilityHow durable is UPVC spray paint? The paint we use is extremely hardy. It’s resistant to abrasion, heat and temperature changes and is impenetrable (waterproof). It won’t be disturbed by general wear and tear, such as branches rubbing against it or people leaning on it. It will stand up to the rigours of everyday life.
Making it lastOf course, the paint we use isn’t indestructible. A sharp object such as a Stanley knife will cut through the paint. And, although it’s resistant to abrasion, holding an electric sander against it will wear it down. The key to preserving your paint is to be smart. Don’t hit it with a spade. Don’t expose it to fire. That way, it’ll last.
What happens after 10 years? There’s a very good chance the paint will stay in a good condition after a period of 10 years has elapsed. In fact, homes we painted 15 years ago look great today. After 10 years, repainting your UPVC is also an option. You might want to change the colour again or paint a new window you’ve had put in place. We cater for this.
Are some paints more durable than others? We can’t speak for other branded spray paints, but the ones we use are considered the most durable in the industry. Also, as a rule of thumb, the higher the gloss content of a paint the more durable it is. That’s because the clear coat protects the paint underneath. We offer you a choice of a matte, satin or gloss finish. We hope this article answers your question, how durable is UPVC spray paint?
