The most popular UPVC colours in 2020 have been greys, whites and blacks.
The RAL Colour Chart is the industry’s reference for colours. Using this chart as a guide, here are the most popular UPVC paint colours in 2020:
#1 RAL 7016 ‘Anthracite Grey’
Anthracite is a chalky and earthy dark grey. It gives UPVC a premium appearance without the high cost of grey UPVC from the factory. We can paint white or brown UPVC anthracite grey, and RAL 7016 is the preferred version.
#2 RAL 7024 ‘Graphite Grey’
Graphite Grey is a lighter shade of grey than Anthracite Grey. It is more silvery than black with a premium appearance. RAL 7024 is the preferred version. This colour is most popular on new builds and houses with light stonework.
#3 RAL 7021 ‘Black Grey’
Black Grey is the darkest grey on the RAL Colour Chart. This colour is most popular on houses with red brickwork and on period properties. It’s a forgiving grey that appears to be almost jet black in the shade.
#4 RAL 9019 ‘Pure White’
When white UPVC comes fresh from the factory it is a pure brilliant white. RAL 9010 ‘Pure White’ is the paint version of this colour. It is snow white in its brilliance making it perfect if you want to renew the appearance of faded white UPVC.
#5 RAL 9005 ‘Jet Black’
Jet Black is the darkest colour on the RAL Colour Chart. It is popular on modern homes and industrial buildings. It’s a flat black with no grey tint whatsoever. If you want your UPVC to blend in with darker stonework, RAL 9005 is perfect.
#6 RAL 9023 ‘Pearl Dark Grey’
Pearl Dark Grey is considered to be a medium grey, although it is included in RAL’s White and Black hues range. It is lighter than Graphite Grey with a milky and earthy tint, making it perfect for buildings with light stonework.
